My story

Hi, I'm Amin, the photographer behind AK Photography.

I founded AK Photography in 2019 in Yangon, Myanmar, and over the next six years built it into a full-time creative business covering 500+ weddings, commercial shoots, and brand content, independently managing everything from first consultation to final delivery.

Photography isn't just my profession. It's how I tell stories. I specialise in capturing real, cinematic moments that people will treasure for a lifetime. Whether it's the emotion of a wedding day, the personality behind a portrait, or the detail of a product, I bring the same commitment to quality and creativity to every shoot.

In 2025 I relocated to Auckland, New Zealand, bringing my experience, international perspective, and passion for visual storytelling to a new creative community. I'm now based in Auckland and available for weddings, portraits, and commercial photography across the region.

With over 36,000 combined followers across Facebook and TikTok, built entirely through organic, quality content, I understand not just photography, but how powerful visuals perform in the real world.
